About the role

The role involves working per diem in a nursing home setting, including evenings, nights, and every other weekend. The position is well-staffed and part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional competencies and care for an aging resident population.
• Assist DON and nursing team with vitals, medication passes, and resident care plans.
• Help LPNs and aides with patient lifts and movement.
• Ensure a friendly and caring environment for patients.
• Occasional weekend shifts are required.

Requirements

• Graduate with a license (RN) to practice in New York State.
• CPR/BLS certification needed.
• Physical ability to work within a year with PPD or alternative.
• Clear NYS RN license.

Qualifications

• Two years of LTC nursing experience.

SkillsComfortable with outpatient medical practices.

Benefits

• Pay rates range from $40 to $42 hourly.
