Long Term Care Nurse Manager (RN)

About the role

Woodbury Health Care Center, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is seeking a Long Term Care Nurse Manager (RN) to join their growing team. Located in Woodbury, adjacent to Woodbury High School, they have been serving seniors since 1979 and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit organization.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
• Aid in developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that aligns with the needs of the resident and client population.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, families, and care providers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in long-term or acute care is preferred, with restorative or geriatric nursing experience being a plus.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Advanced computer skills are required.

Pay

$42-$46/hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time AM shifts, with an on-call rotation for RNs.
