Long Term Care Nurse Manager, RN AM
At Community First Solutions, we focus on the person—not just the task. We are seeking a compassionate, hands-on Nursing Leader (RN) to join our team. This leader will work alongside our caregivers and nurses, providing direct bedside care while guiding, mentoring, and supporting the team to achieve shared goals. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll lead by example—not from behind a desk.
About the role
You'll provide real-time coaching, foster accountability, and help create a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional, resident-centered care. Your positive attitude, clinical expertise, and approachable leadership style will set the tone for the team while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compassion are maintained every day.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and manage resident-driven care plans
- Manage staff assignments and maintain appropriate staffing ratios
- Delegate duties to staff members within each individual team member's scope of practice, training, and competency level
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff including RN, LPN, and STNA
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by Medical Director or Resident physician
- Documentation following established clinical policies and procedures
- Effectively communicate with residents, family members, and co-workers
- Protect the health and safety of residents
- Other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position
- Willing to lead by example and support your team in achieving goals, including performing duties of other nursing staff when needed
Requirements
- Graduate of Ohio Board of Nursing approved nursing program or school of nursing
- Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio
- Current CPR certification
- Previous experience in long-term/geriatrics preferred
- Familiar with infection control practices, OSHA guidelines relative to long-term care, and Ohio Department of Health Regulations

Pay
- Starting at $37.00/hour, based on date of licensure
- $3.00/hour shift differential
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- 40/36 perfect attendance bonus: paid 40 hours for working 36
Schedule
Full-time Day Shift (6:30am - 7:00pm) with every third weekend rotation
