Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurse (LTAC)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, complex care to medically fragile patients in long-term acute care settings.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications.
• Manage ventilators and tracheostomies, ensuring optimal patient safety.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care to meet patient needs.
• Document patient information accurately in EMRs.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
• Maintain strict safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed RN with relevant experience in long-term acute care or similar environments.
• Proficiency in ventilator and tracheostomy management.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
