Long Haul Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Assign, plan and dispatch drivers/contractors, working closely with management and Operations team(s)
• Recruit and grow a stable driving team to maintain the goals of Berger
• Develop partnerships to secure hauling opportunities
• Maintain data integrity to ensure that accurate information is available for internal and external customers
• Oversee contractor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work well with a team, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, constantly changing, high demand work environment
• Minimum of 1 year of Owner Operator Interstate planning and dispatch experience is required
• Previous Household Goods experience is required
• Strong problem solving skills
• Self starter motivated by daily challenges
• Excellent organizational skills
• Robust geographical knowledge

Qualifications
