Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day logistic activities, tracking shipments, ensuring documentation and funds are provided for customs clearance.
  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends and inefficiencies.
  • Ensure data being analyzed and presented is accurate.
  • Manage freight lane data within Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and lead the process for setting up new lanes in TMS as needed.
  • Use knowledge and skills to find solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Interact with various internal department personnel, country managers, external customers, and freight facilitators to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and address customer issues.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and annual transportation reporting for data analysis.
  • Analyze data and design new deployment models as needed; based on data analysis, work with management to optimize carrier selection, lanes, and call out data that does not align with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Schedule container bookings to fulfill customer finished goods orders and/or production planning of raw material needs, as well as coordinating the shipment of Premium and Apparel commodities.
  • Maintain container log to track shipments accurately so that trigger dates for inventory movement and billing are reported accurately.
  • Provide necessary information and documentation to warehouses and freight forwarders to effectively coordinate the timely loading of shipments and prepare necessary shipping documents or work with customer service personnel to ensure that all customs clearance requirements are met.
  • Coordinate prepayment of customs clearance fees and assist in procuring bids on shipping lanes.
  • Effectively communicate with various internal departments to ensure product availability, adherence to quality control guidelines and packaging standards, and ensure that required shipping documents are on file and maintained for the specified audit requirement period.

Requirements

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in transportation, warehouse, or inventory management.
  • Between 1-3 years of experience in creating and presenting high-level reports of data analysis.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Intermediate SQL experience.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Software such as Power BI & Tableau; other BI software experience is a plus.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Pay

The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $19 - $26 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
