Logistics Technician I

About the role

The team in Space and Defense Group is seeking a Logistics Technician I to join their team. Reporting to the Performance Leader, this role will be based in East Aurora, NY with an onsite 1st shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supporting inventory/warehouse operations including finished goods storage, demand/inventory/production planning, and cycle counting
• Aid in the movement, storage, and inventory control of materials, finished goods, tools, and packaging materials
• Assist with import/export and customs management
• Support shipping/receiving operations as needed
• Execute inventory control processes and records management to achieve targeted quality, wastage, and inventory levels
• Operate various material handling/warehouse equipment
• Heavily interact with Moog Business Systems and MS Office

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions in English
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• A valid driver's license
• A background in inventory control, cycle counts or stockroom activities is preferred
