Logistics Technician

Position Summary

The Logistics Technician at OneWater Marine supports the efficient transportation, tracking, and coordination of boats, trailers, and major units across company locations and vendors. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely scheduling, and proper communication with dealerships, drivers, and vendors to maintain operational flow.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Safely move, transport, and stage boats, trailers, and equipment on the lot using a forklift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free lot, service area, and surrounding property
• Clean and care for equipment, ensuring it remains in good working order and presentable condition
• Absorb and assist service technicians and other departments as needed to improve workflow and efficiency
• Support physical inspections of units upon arrival or prior to shipment (e.g., verifying VIN/HIN, condition, and paperwork)
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory compliance related to equipment handling
• Aid in resolving discrepancies or delays in shipments through follow-up and troubleshooting
• Absorb and assist with receiving and staging units for delivery, ensuring storage areas are organized and accessible

• Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in logistics, inventory, warehouse, or dealership operations
• Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and transportation coordination
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record required
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
