Logistics Technician

Role Overview: The position involves managing shipping operations within a distribution environment, ensuring accurate preparation of package labels, invoices, and documentation. Key Responsibilities Operate courier systems and prepare shipping documentation professionally and promptly.Maintain and verify shipping machine address databases using QLIMS.Perform quality checks on all shipping paperwork before dispatch.Compare shipments against manifests to ensure accuracy.Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed.Ensure photocopied paperwork maintains a professional appearance.Keep the work area clean and organized. Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent.At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving within a distribution center, with familiarity in small package shipping companies such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS.Domestic shipping experience required; international shipping experience preferred.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Basic computer proficiency and understanding of import/export regulations.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and foster positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
