About the role
The Facilities Technician at PENN Entertainment is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, installations, and general cleaning. This role requires a combination of technical skills and customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative and general maintenance tasks, installations, and general cleaning
- Delivers internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards
- Performs general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and dry wall repairs
- Completes routine repairs such as cabinet installations, restroom fixture repair, and lighting fixture replacements
- Inspects and adjusts property equipment as necessary
- Collaborates with other Facilities Team Members and Departments on tasks and projects
- Aids in the installation or relocation of equipment and property furniture
- Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs
- Participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work
- Performs exterior maintenance, snow removal, and salting as necessary
- Attends departmental and company meetings
- Adheres to all safety procedures and keeps work area clean of debris
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Available to work required schedule which may include night, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years maintenance experience specializing in skills related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, roofing, or HVAC preferred
- Valid driver’s license
