FACILITIES TECHNICIAN

About the role

The Facilities Technician at PENN Entertainment is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, installations, and general cleaning. This role requires a combination of technical skills and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative and general maintenance tasks, installations, and general cleaning
• Delivers internal and external guest service in accordance with company service standards
• Performs general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and dry wall repairs
• Completes routine repairs such as cabinet installations, restroom fixture repair, and lighting fixture replacements
• Inspects and adjusts property equipment as necessary
• Collaborates with other Facilities Team Members and Departments on tasks and projects
• Aids in the installation or relocation of equipment and property furniture
• Uses hand tools and power tools in making maintenance repairs
• Participates in general cleaning, painting, and repair work
• Performs exterior maintenance, snow removal, and salting as necessary
• Attends departmental and company meetings
• Adheres to all safety procedures and keeps work area clean of debris

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Available to work required schedule which may include night, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years maintenance experience specializing in skills related to carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, roofing, or HVAC preferred
• Valid driver’s license
