Logistics Support

About the Role

Provide logistics support to the contract maintenance function within the maintenance area.

Responsibilities

• Receive equipment/hardware for repair and conduct market research by contacting potential vendors for estimates on repair evaluations and actions.
• At the direction of the appropriate Government representatives, prepare necessary paperwork to support purchase requests, contracting actions, and shipment/receipt of property.
• Responsible for positive property control, preparing equipment/hardware for shipment, inspection of material, appropriate receipt, and acceptance of property in the appropriate information systems.
• Track execution of MIPR expenditures for customers, follow up with customers on requirements, help plan/schedule equipment in for repair.
• Support all facets of the repair process to include providing required data to product areas, maintenance production support, and financial and contracting functional personnel.
• Compile data and reports, attend meetings as necessary to provide status updates.

• Must be able to prioritize work and act accordingly under changes in priorities and schedules.
