About the role
Responsible for overseeing logistics and supply chain operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory management and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successful project management and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.
- Knowledge of global trade regulations and compliance.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
- Understanding of warehouse management principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
