Logistics Supervisor - Dedicated Transportation

Under the responsibility of the Manager, the Logistics Supervisor supervises, coordinates, and oversees logistics operations while providing coaching, development, and training to staff. The role involves recommending improvements to facility processes, equipment, and machinery, ensuring staff performance meets standards, and driving progress toward business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager to ensure compliance with company standards and customer service specifications.
• Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinating worker activities to optimize shift and team logistics.
• Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
• Conduct regular team and individual meetings to monitor progress, track performance, provide coaching, and recognize successes.
• Foster team spirit through Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and promote cooperation by improving internal processes.
• Perform team member evaluations and recommend performance awards or merit increases as appropriate.
• Address performance issues through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
• Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
• Implement health, safety, and security initiatives, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Provide orientation, information, technology, and materials to employees and Lead Hands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
• Zero to one (1) year of direct supervisory or leadership experience required.

Pay

Annual salary range: $60,000–$65,000 (exempt/salaried, paid twice per month).

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.
