About the role
We are immediately hiring a Logistics Supervisor in Flint, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations
- Plan and review logistics processes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer service specifications
- Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics
- Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPI)
- Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress, track performance, coach, counsel, recognize successes, and promote team spirit
- Cultivate team spirit with a Diversity and Inclusion initiative and promote cooperation by seeking opportunities to improve internal processes
- Carry out performance evaluations of the team members and recommend performance awards and/or merit increases when appropriate
- Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary process
- Understand labor agreement and maintain positive labor relations with all employees
- Implement health & safety and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors, and adhere to company rules and policies
- Provide appropriate orientation for employees and lead hands, giving them the information, technology, and any material necessary to perform their jobs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred
- One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required

Pay
- Pay Type: Salaried
- Minimum Pay Range: $58,000
- Maximum Pay Range: $61,000
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 06:00am-02:30pm (must be flexible)
