Why You Will Love this Job

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate all material handling functions for the Hattiesburg Engine operations
• Responsible for the coordination of the Generator cycle count program and provides in-depth analysis and corrective action for all issues affecting inventory accuracy
• Directly supervises and assigns work to material handling employees on the production floor
• Captains the coordination of the movement of inbound and outbound material to ensure a smooth flow of material
• Administers all company policies and procedures
• Trainer at Hattiesburg for all individuals required to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV)
• Ensures that all employees operating PIVs possess current and correct licenses
• Assigns the physical counting of parts and provides analysis and corrective action for errors as required
• Adjust inventory and provide reports to management
• Audit bills of material and work with scheduling/engineering to correct errors
• Assist with identifying and providing analysis of excess and obsolete material
• Provide backup support to purchasing, scheduling, and shipping
• Frequent contact with other areas of Supply Chain team
• Frequent contact with Operations, Engineering, and Quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associates degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a people leadership role
• Minimum of 1 year in Supply Chain
• Must be able to make sound decisions, be a self-starter and able to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
• Has basic Computer Skills, with the ability to understand/learn new programs

Salary Range

The Salary range for this position is $69,800.00-$87,950.00. The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
