As the Logistics Specialist – Matting Solutions you will lead the customer experience from initial quotation to final billing, and accurately estimating costs related to materials and transportation for crane mat sales and support. Formerly YAK ACCESS, Matting Solutions is now part of the United Rentals Team and is one of North America’s leading providers of right-of-way access solutions. From pipelines to power lines to civil projects, we offer unmatched expertise in total access planning, clearing, site work and restoration services. What You’ll Do Oversee project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-compliant executionDesign and estimate cost-effective solutions for various projects, focusing on materials and logisticsCollaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to optimize project outcomesDevelop and maintain project schedules, manage logistics, and ensure seamless executionPerform detailed cost analysis and manage procurement and quality control of materialsOther duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is desirable5 years’ experience in Estimating/Project ManagementAbility to prioritize, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsStrong understanding of all Project Management and Lean construction methodologies and principlesKnowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and safety hazards of construction projectsAbility to coordinate large construction projects and monitor the work of contractorsExcellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Project and B2W software is a plus This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
