Responsibilities
- Perform all mid-level logistical activities pertaining to the receiving, storage, kitting, inventory, and shipping of all materials.
- Stock and restock inventory locations within the assigned locations.
- Absorb and assist as needed in preparing, updating, and submitting status reports, cycle counts, property stock records, and other warehouse best practice paperwork.
- Consult team members as needed for tenured advice on ISO protocols and TCOM LP’s internal operational programs.
- Validate the accuracy and correctness of materials and documents as they are related throughout all Physical Material Management and Transportation.
- Maintain an overall working knowledge of the International Organization of Standards (ISO) protocols associated with materials and warehousing methodology.
- Obtain an understanding and working knowledge of TCOM LP’s internal operational programs (e.g. ERP Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos Analytics, and DataMill RepairData).
- Assist with the unloading of large and small trucks and individual packages in accordance with current best practices.
- Participate in the overall strategic equipment and work area cleanliness, organization, while maintaining an area free of debris.
- Communicate with direct leadership to understand and improve all directly related company SOPs and overall work.
- Determine and annotate (as needed) storage, tracking, and issuing of all material including, but not limited to, company and government owned property.
- Load, unload, or stack containers, boxes, materials, or objects as required.
- Assist in the overall reinforcement of day to day work environment focused on proper ergonomics and a safety-first approach.
- Communicate via email and face-to-face with both internal and external team members, leaders, partners, vendors, and organizations on a dynamic level and timeline.
- Assist in the coordination and team effort to ensure all items meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) within the prescribed timeline by properly communicating (E.g. Stock outages, shipment delays, and misidentified items.)
- Assist in maintaining an open and honest line of communication, for ideas and process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years’ experience in warehousing operations and inventory controls.
- Experience in DoD manufacturing operations preferred.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $39,367 - $56,000. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
