Logistics Specialist

A typical day starts at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM, Thursday through Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday), with the option to work from home.

About the role

You’ll work in an upbeat, competitive environment where you contribute both individually and as part of a team. Each day brings the challenge of building relationships with carriers to book shipments for customers at the best possible price. You’ll handle shipment details, stay connected with carriers through delivery, and enjoy frequent team potlucks.

Responsibilities

• Book shipments and provide accurate details
• Build and maintain relationships with motor carrier partners
• Negotiate pricing to ensure competitive rates for customers
• Monitor shipments through to successful delivery

Requirements

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills
• 1–3 years of transportation or logistics experience preferred
• Associate’s degree in Business Management or Logistics preferred but not required
• Growth and results-oriented mindset with a desire for leadership/management
