Logistics Specialist, ADC InfraOps Logistics

About the role

AWS is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the transportation, shipping, receiving, and inventory control of components and equipment for its data center operations. The role involves driving long distances, handling sensitive materials, and working in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Process in-stock components and receive and process inbound shipments
• Coordinate and execute daily equipment deliveries to data centers across the region
• Assist with ongoing requests to ensure proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations
• Create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle
• Work with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately
• Work with Procurement teams to ensure inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations
• Ensure accurate data entry and resolve questions from peer organizations
• Generate reports for internal and external customers and management as required

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Qualifications

• 1+ years of logistics experience
• 1+ years of material forecasting experience

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $29.00 - $50.00 per hour.
