Key job responsibilities

• Drive long distances for up to 10 hours
• Process in-stock components as well as receive and process inbound shipments and coordinate and execute daily equipment deliveries to Datacenters across the region
• Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data Center Technicians and Engineers
• Load and unload shipments and transport parts, racks, and equipment between different locations, including localized driving of a variety of transportation vehicles
• Assist with ongoing requests to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained and distributed to all locations to support build and repair activities
• Work with the Logistics Manager to create plans to optimize the flow and delivery of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory locations and movement
• Work closely with Datacenter Operations Technicians to fulfill parts and equipment deliveries quickly and accurately
• Work with Procurement teams to ensure that inbound equipment orders are complete and delivered to appropriate Data Center Locations
• Responsible for accurate data entry and resolving questions from peer organizations
• Ensure that all information associated with the deliveries such as inventory tracking and Ticket updates are accurate to ensure equipment is ready for processing by end user
• Dive deep into the inventory they distribute to better understand the tracking, control and accuracy surrounding the components
• Involved in, if not responsible for or limited to, decision making involving route planning, vehicle maintenance, load planning, loading and unloading equipment daily equipment deliveries
• Maintain up-to-date metrics dashboards and or excel spreadsheets and will create reports for internal and external customer and management as required
• Attend company provided fork lift operator training
• Complete company provided training in driving box trucks up to 26’ in length
• Handle sensitive/classified client materials
• Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally work in an office environment
• Work overtime as required

Basic qualifications

• 1+ years of logistics experience
• 1+ years of material forecasting experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics experience

• A Valid Driver's License is required
• This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance
• The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements
• Understand all aspects of Transportation, shipping and receiving as well as inventory control
• Adhere to strict safety standards
• Maintain very high quality
• Be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker)

Pay & benefits

USA, VA, Culpeper - 29.00 - 50.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
