About the role

The primary point of contact for customer representatives within the network, acting as the liaison between customers and the capacity team responsible for booking loads. You'll own the load lifecycle from start to finish, including order entry, load creation, and managing any exceptions that occur during execution.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Transportation arrangements are made for shipments by the following:
    • Making sure customer load board and information flow in the Transportation Management System are monitored
    • Maintaining any team mailboxes
    • Performing relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
    • Documenting and organizing existing standard operating processes
    • Learning multiple job functions within assigned team
    • Facilitating customer calls and updates, identifying when an outgoing call is needed to offer proactive answers
    • Meting operational metrics
    • Conducting CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representatives
    • Managing reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
    • Making fact-based suggestions on how customers can achieve their goals in utilizing CHR by understanding CHR’s value proposition
    • Acting as a resource and support for peers when needed
    • Understanding and utilizing CHR’s project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma and/or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think critically, analyze data and solve problems quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work in a team oriented and fast-paced environment
