Logistics Project Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Process Engineer responsible for managing internal logistics processes at automotive manufacturing plants. The position has no direct reports and involves key decision‑making in cost‑effective process design and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coordinating material handling and delivery processes
• Utilizing engineering tools such as AutoCAD and Excel
• Working with stakeholders to optimize workflows
• Leading complex projects with budgets over $250,000
• Supporting process development
• Resolving production issues in collaboration with production departments and third‑party logistics providers
• Designing layout plans, manpower planning, and packaging strategies
• Leading project evaluations, developing SAPs, and presenting to leadership
• Supporting business planning and resolving production‑related challenges
• Acting as subject matter expert in logistics process development and process improvement

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in an engineering role
