Nightwing is seeking a Logistics/Property Specialist to perform a wide variety of tasks related to incoming and outgoing Nightwing and Government material/equipment. The specialist will interact with customer and company property/logistics representatives as well as freight carriers and Government personnel. Primary duties include receiving, shipping, and maintaining inventory records for Nightwing and Government assets.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify/inspect, create records, and store incoming material/equipment.
• Provide packaging and shipping services of material/equipment, including tracking of shipments.
• Conduct annual physical inventory activities, assist in resolving discrepancies, and report metrics.
• Participate in internal and external audits and assist in resolution of nonconformance to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist with project/program closeout, including final disposition of property.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Inventory Management/Warehouse Management system transactions.
• Strong self‑starter with ability to work independently on multiple assignments.
• Ability to be flexible with shifting priorities and display effective time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented to record and maintain inventory asset transactions accurately with high quality and rapid execution.
• Team player comfortable operating in a high‑energy, deadline‑driven environment; results‑focused, ensuring critical due dates and milestones are met.
• Effective listening and communication with customers and teammates.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to operate powered equipment to transport material/equipment; forklift certification.
• Willingness to obtain certification in DOT Hazmat / IATA Dangerous Goods Training.
• Willingness to comply with Nightwing Non‑Commercial & DOT Driving Programs.
• Ability to lift up to 94 lb.
• Willingness to do minimal travel as needed.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills

• Practical understanding of Government/Customer Property Management as defined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
• Certification through the National Property Management Association (NPMA) or equivalent.
• Four years of related experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Salary & Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $64,000 to $128,000, commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
