About the role
The Logistics Operator II position at Sun Coast Mobile 4 involves safely moving product using powered industrial equipment. Duties include filling orders from tickets, operating equipment, verifying incoming and outgoing products, stacking loads, checking for accuracy, and completing daily inspections.
Responsibilities
- Fills orders from tickets according to set quotas
- Operates powered industrial equipment while following UNITED safety policy
- Verifies all product and full goods/raw materials incoming and outgoing
- Stacks loads properly
- Correctly rotates product/materials
- Removes product from area and carries to the staging area
- Identifies product by description and quantity then removes product from area
- Checks for accuracy in picking
- Completes general housekeeping duties
- Completes daily powered equipment inspection form
- Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Sorts and places materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to Company
- Fills up scrubber with water
- Keeps scrubber in good condition
- Empty contents of scrubber
- Clean out trap when needed
- Leaves scrubber empty at end of shift
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Forklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferred
- Able to effectively adapt to change and demonstrate initiative
- Able to work safely and securely
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
