About the role

As a Logistics Operator, you will plan, organize, and participate in the daily operations of Dry, Freezer, and Cooler Warehousing, Shipping & Receiving, and Logistics. Clearly communicate in a friendly, professional manner and perform related work as required.
Responsibilities
- Pull and issue materials to the production department
- Receive materials and supplies from vendors, WIP, and finished goods
- Verify physically all material received in terms of lot numbers, quantity and quality of package
- Print drums/ingredients labels for all product received according to shipping documents and COAs
- Keep updated all data entry in the system as needed (production – Finish Goods)
- Ship finished goods and other materials
- Participate in quarterly inventories and weekly cycle counts
- Maintain area to meet SQF and GMP requirements
- Receive goods and verify the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; check against suppliers count and immediately report discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing officer per company policy
- Verify and record all items loaded for shipments
- Carefully and accurately maintain shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets
- Maintain database of shipment data to ensure customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting or other associated departments as required
- Notify supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions
- Transport materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1–2 years' previous operations experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Forklift certification

Schedule
2nd shift, 3:30pm to 12:00am. This position is currently classified as on-site.
