Compensation Grade ACE-USD-WAGE
The current rates for this position range from $29.88 – $35.08. Selected candidates will be offered the starting rate and will receive increases up to top-out based on successful achievement of required job qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for loading and shipping product from raw material delivery to shipment of finished product while maintaining a safe work environment through operational excellence and accordance with the INEOS 20 Safety Principles and the Life Saving Rules.
- Aware of and follow all safety and security guidelines according to Company policy and in compliance with all applicable environmental, safety and government regulations.
- Provides accurate and timely communication to co-workers and works with other functions to improve individual and logistics performance.
- Ensures proper shift turnover by providing effective written and oral communications to the relieving shift that cover routine and non-routine issues, problems faced, unit operating conditions, etc.
- Applies statistical tools to enhance product quality and participates on improvement teams.
- Inspects containers for loading/unloading and documents the inspection results.
- Loading/unloads bulk liquid materials utilizing railcars, tank trucks, and Iso-tanks.
- Prepares and loads finished products for domestic and export shipments.
- Operates a track mobile and switches railcars.
- Performs minor maintenance on equipment.
- Isolates and decontaminates plant equipment.
- Understands and complies with administrative duties for government regulations from federal and state agencies.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED.
- One of the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years in an industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or maintenance environment.
- Associates degree or higher from an accredited institution, technical discipline preferred.
- 4+ years of active military experience in a role that is technical in nature; applicant must provide a copy of DD214 military discharge paperwork.
- Prior material handling/loading/unloading experience in industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated capability to use computers and other electronic interfaces for plant operation, inventory tracking, or workflow facilitation.
- Possession or obtaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card prior to first day of employment.
- Possession of a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.
- Possession of skills, knowledge, and training related to implementation of life critical processes: LOTO, system and process openings, working at heights, hot work, confined space entry, energized electrical work.
Competencies & Behavioral Skills
- Willing and able to work outside, year-round under various weather conditions.
- Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts (which includes weekends and some holidays).
- Capable of climbing (scaffolds, towers, vessels, etc.) and working at heights.
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in a confined space and from elevated platforms.
- Able to wear appropriate protective equipment.
- Participates in Respiratory Fit Testing Program.
- Basic computer skills are a requirement for this position.
