Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound logistics for raw materials, intermediate, and finished goods, ensuring timely and accurate receipt while maintaining inventory accuracy and material traceability.
  • Manage the handling, storage, and movement of critical, regulated, and hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, EHS, company policies, SOPs, and quality system documentation through daily execution and oversight of logistics operations.
  • Prioritize time-sensitive shipments, production orders, and material requests to support uninterrupted manufacturing and supply chain performance.
  • Utilize SAP ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications to execute GR transactions, analyze data, and support operational reporting.
  • Work with management to identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, service, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement and sustain 5S practices to maintain safe, organized, and efficient work environments.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and order pickers, in accordance with certification and safety requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve process deviations and operational issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Cross-train and support logistics functions including Receiving, Inventory Control, Factory Support, and warehouse operations to ensure operational flexibility.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, work direction, and task prioritization for logistics team members to ensure execution of operational objectives.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for material flow, inventory, quality, and customer service issues, coordinating timely resolution with cross-functional teams.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on operational procedures, compliance requirements, safety standards, and best practices to support team development and performance.
  • Monitor team productivity, workload distribution, staffing needs, and service levels, making adjustments to meet business demands.

Qualifications

  • Requires higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically at least 3-6 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.

Pay

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $24.54 - $38.34/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Full time weekly schedule. Day shift.
