About the role
We are looking to hire a Logistics & Material Handler to join our team. This role operates on first shift (Monday - Friday) with the ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload parts and finished goods from various trucks and shipping vehicles.
- Plan, schedule, and manage the efficient movement of material from production to outbound staging area.
- Operate forklift and crane to load and/or unload OEM inventory, supplies, and containers.
- Perform daily operator-level inspection of equipment.
- Manage and maintain end-item shipping container fleet.
- Deliver items to designated areas when applicable.
- Label and load material according to established procedures.
- Ensure completed paperwork relating to the shipment of goods is in place.
- Validate Custom Import documents for containerized inbound conveyances.
- Organize materials for quality inspections as applicable before shipment.
- Work will require bending, stooping, standing, kneeling for 8 hours per day, and lifting 35 pounds repetitively with or without accommodations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of forklift experience or other industrial equipment.
- Experience using basic power hand tools.
- Basic office administration skills such as typing, copying, filing, and utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of inventory processes such as parts flow, FIFO, JIT, Kanbans.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Work experience in SAP systems and transactions.
- Self-directed and action-oriented with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated time, priority, and stress management skills in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.

Pay
The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
