Responsibilities

  • Prioritize daily stores activities
  • Perform satellite receiving functions, materials pick-up, or drop-off at vendor sites (using a van or truck)
  • Investigate customer inquiries, cycle count discrepancies, and non-conformances
  • Perform cycle counts to verify and maintain inventory
  • Locate, audit, and transfer kits or materials in preparation for shipment
  • Receive parts, update inventory records, or shortage reports; perform transactions in Oracle, SAP, or other inventory systems
  • Verify vendor deliveries before accepting parts and/or inventory
  • Monitor, update, and maintain shortage reports, including review of work orders
  • Coordinate processing of non-conformances
  • Regulate and prepare material for delivery to the cleanroom environment
  • Prevent accumulation of excess material under management direction
  • Move stock as required; replenish empty line-side bins and regulate material movement to the manufacturing floor
  • Review M.R.P. for upcoming work orders, project status, and W.I.P.
  • Expedite receipt of materials from vendors/suppliers
  • Train and certify other Material Coordinators as required
  • Follow documented business processes
  • Purge stock of excess and obsolete material under supervisor direction; rework, transfer, or scrap items as necessary
  • Operate powered industrial vehicles (e.g., pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, overhead crane) and drive a van or truck if required
  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols; participate in addressing safety concerns

Skills & Qualifications

  • Developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures to carry out assigned tasks
  • Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others
  • Ability to provide solutions to atypical or infrequent problems based on existing precedents
  • Strong communication skills to exchange information regularly
  • May provide informal guidance and support to junior team members
