Material Handling Coordinator II
Job Responsibilities
- Execute daily operational tasks directly on the Warehouse Manager's behalf while following detailed, step-by-step instructions precisely.
- Pull and verify physical stock items using generated pick lists, confirming material accuracy against system orders before execution or movement.
- Fulfill internal inventory requisitions by preparing or delivering relevant stock to support active projects flexibly.
- Manage and track ERP and inventory systems to maintain 100% digital alignment with real-time stock variables and current availability.
- Generate, review, and maintain documentation for all material transfers, variance reports, audit outcomes, and negative stock investigations.
- Carry out routine physical inventory counts on weekly, quarterly, and annual schedules to ensure overall warehouse accuracy.
- Report and reconcile stock discrepancies immediately to the Warehouse Manager, investigating negative stock to resolve physical and system variances.
- Maintain a clean and efficient workplace while adhering to safe material handling practices and workplace safety compliance.
- Process daily receiving, pick and prepare materials for internal and external needs, and audit inventory stock.
Basic Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required, alongside 1–2 years of related functional stockroom or inventory experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Foundational understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control procedure execution, and physical audit/variance reconciliation practices.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including hands-on experience using MRP/ERP systems (Oracle ERP or similar software preferred) and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to track and control inventory variables.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to handle deadline-driven priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to constantly navigate both office and warehouse environments, standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to operate computers or handle stock; ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs of varying shapes and operate dollies or pallet jacks to load and unload supplies.
