What You'll Do

  • Manage the overall Receiving process, this includes warehousing and inventory control.
  • Manage the overall supply chain process which includes the entire workflow from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Manage the overall Shipping process, this includes packaging and shipping of finished products to our customers. Ensure packaging and delivery of finished products while maintaining quality and timeliness of shipments to our customers and in a timely manner.
  • Assemble custom-made products for Virtuell Mounting Solutions (VMS) in close collaboration with the technical team in Kassel.
  • Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of logistics operations and implement necessary improvements.
  • Understand ERP systems and other systems within the logistics process.
  • Effectively cross-collaborate, communicate, and cooperate with headquarters.
  • Review open orders and pick, pack, and ship products and accessories to customers.
  • Perform a basic functional test and add the software to the devices.
  • Based upon packing slip, prepare package for shipment according to carrier instructions for UPS.
  • Ensure that packages are shipped on a timely basis and consult with their manager and internal customers regarding any shipping issues or need for clarifications.
  • Receive, inspect, and put items back into stock daily.
  • Rebuild mounts received back from customers.
  • Restock shipping boxes and other items that may need restocked daily.
  • Maintain a well-organized and lean work environment.
  • Must be able to identify areas of improvement and suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform various duties as assigned.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in logistics in managing both inbound and outbound logistics.
  • Problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Certification and/or formal education in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, or similar fields.

Preferred Certifications for North America

  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM): Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge in manufacturing and inventory management.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP): A comprehensive certification that covers the entire end-to-end supply chain.
  • Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) / Certified Logistics Associate (CLA): Recognized certifications that validate skills in the logistics industry.
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt): Certification demonstrating expertise in process improvement and efficiency enhancement.

What You'll Bring
