About the role
The Schebler Company is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize logistics operations within the company’s manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping, warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
- Oversee inventory control processes, cycle counts, and audits.
- Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier relationships.
- Improve logistics processes, delivery efficiency, and cost control initiatives.
- Lead and develop logistics team members.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and transportation regulations.
- Support operational planning, resource allocation, and logistics budgeting.
Requirements
- Strong logistics, shipping, warehousing, and inventory experience.
- Enjoy solving operational challenges and improving processes.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience negotiating freight rates and managing carrier relationships.
- Ability to lead teams while balancing day-to-day operational demands.
- Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Manufacturing, warehousing, and freight coordination experience is strongly preferred.
