Logistics Manager
Essential Functions
- Manage daily dispatch operations
- Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance
- Oversee route planning and load optimization
- Maintain accurate records and inspection documentation
- Communicate with operations, project managers, and clients
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff
- Conduct performance reviews and training
- Enforce company safety policies
- Resolve service disruptions and escalations
Certifications/Training/Licensure
- 30 Hour OSHA (preferred but will train)
- MSHA (required but will train)
- Class A CDL (Preferred)
- 40-HR HAZWOPER (Preferred but will train)
Required Eligibility Qualifications
- 1+ Years Management Experience in the Environmental or Industrial Field
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license (Required)
- Must be able to pass a background check
Physical Demands
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
- Able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs.) up and down multiple flights of stairs
- Ability to work in varying (extreme) temperatures, depending upon season
- Must complete all pre and post training including safety, new hire, and regulatory
Hours of Work
- Shift work, flexible schedules and 24/7 on-call availability (varies by division and job)
- Typical week will consist of Monday – Friday, 8-10 hours per day (varies by division and job)
Travel
- Must have reliable transportation to be able to commute to job site each day.
