Logistics Leader
Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division is seeking a Logistics Leader to join our team at the Port Hudson Paper Mill in Zachary, Louisiana. In this role, you will create long-term value by leading logistics operations that support production, warehousing, inventory management, shipping, and customer fulfillment activities.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop logistics team members through coaching, feedback, capability building, and performance management
- Drive a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence throughout logistics operations
- Oversee inventory management, warehousing, material flow, shipping, receiving, and transportation activities
- Partner with production, maintenance, planning, and commercial teams to optimize product flow and customer service
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, shipping performance, cost, productivity, and service levels
- Identify and eliminate barriers that impact operational performance through data analysis and root cause analysis
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Support strategic projects and initiatives that create value for the facility and Georgia-Pacific
Requirements
- Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or developing employees in a manufacturing, distribution, military, or industrial environment
- Experience managing or supporting logistics, warehousing, inventory, transportation, supply chain, or material flow activities
- Experience using data to identify problems, prioritize opportunities, and drive improvements
- Experience leading safety initiatives and promoting safe work practices
Qualifications
What will put you ahead:
- Pulp and Paper experience
- Experience with SAP, warehouse management systems, or inventory control systems
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
