Logistics Inventory Team Leader

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Reporting to a Manager, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating and leading daily inventory and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient flow of products, accurate inventory management, and achievement of operational goals within your assigned area. You will oversee inventory control processes, monitor productivity and quality standards, assist with employee training and development, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to improve operations and processes
• Operate material handling equipment
• Lead a team of Warehouse Associates
• Foster a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel included, valued, and safe
• Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment
• Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
• Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program
• Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped
• Follow health and safety policies that follow company and OSHA regulations
• Be available to work overtime and weekends

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a warehousing environment, including at least 1 year of recent experience in a supervisory role
• 2+ years of experience in an inventory role including cycle counting
• 1+ years of Excel experience; can accurately enter data and maintain complex spreadsheets
• Forklift operating experience
• Ability to work overtime and weekends

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; overtime and weekends as needed.

Pay

Weekly pay at $20.00 per hour.
