About the role
As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers’ products—from everyday essentials to seasonal items—are stored, handled, and delivered with precision, impacting businesses and communities around the world. In this Warehouse Team Leader position, you will oversee operations in a GXP healthcare environment, coordinating daily logistics activities to ensure full and efficient operation of your assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily logistics activities in a temperature-controlled environment (35°F to 46°F)
- Make recommendations to improve warehouse operations and processes
- Operate pallet jacks and lead a team of Warehouse Associates
- Foster a culture of belonging in a diverse workforce where all associates feel included, valued, and safe
- Help develop processes to ensure efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment
- Implement safety processes to protect personnel, equipment, and property
- Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program
- Ensure accurate inventory control and timely picking and shipping of customer orders
- Follow health and safety policies in compliance with company and OSHA regulations
- Adhere to FDA guidelines
- Be available to work overtime and weekends
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- Basic technical and math skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
