About the Role
Ensures perpetual inventory records are correct based on sample counts and accurate system input/output transactions. Maintains all stock and stocking areas identified, organized, and in a uniform and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Picks, prepares, and delivers issue and transfer material by scheduled customer date.
- Ensures outgoing material is accurate, complete, labeled, and securely packaged.
- Delivers materials to outlying locations as necessary.
- Receives, inspects, processes, and places in inventory all incoming stock material.
- Electronically notifies customer of all non-stock receipts.
- Processes discrepancies and notifies appropriate requisitioner, Distribution Forecast Analyst, or Buyer.
- Ensures receipts are processed within the same working day.
- Maintains inventory at a minimum 97.0% item accuracy.
- Ensures inventory is received, stored, and issued based on FIFO inventory rotation.
- Maintains appropriate housekeeping in all work and storage areas.
- Ensures all non-stock inventory is properly identified and labeled.
- Maintains working stock at inventory levels sufficient to accommodate historical usage.
- Generates and processes working stock replenishment orders using assigned activity-based project and task number.
- Monitors fuel deliveries, dispensers, and tanks for spills and leaks.
- Performs monthly Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Underground Storage Tank, Transformer, and Equipment leak inspections and retains required documentation.
- Provides daily routine inspections as needed.
- Completes monthly fleet reports.
- Acts as back-up to the Senior Logistics and Inventory Control Specialist as needed.
- Performs turnkey inventory control and warehousing functions at remote Transmission stocking locations.
- Generates material issue orders, pick tickets, processes all returns and approved disposals.
- Maintains item accuracy, working stock, and housekeeping standards at remote locations.
- Provides job site deliveries to line crews for critical needed items.
- Procures and/or requisitions non-stock material and services for Stores via Oracle Purchasing or P-card.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Class A CDL required within one year from date of hire.
Qualifications
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist A: 5 years related experience or Associate's Degree + 4 years related experience.
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B: 2 years related experience.
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C: No prior experience required.
Pay
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist A: $27.00 - $33.75 (min. - mid.)
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist B: $22.00 - $27.45 (min. - mid.)
- Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist C: $17.85 - $22.30 (min. - mid.)
