Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Logistics Intern to support our freight operations. This role provides hands-on experience in coordinating truck shipments, managing logistics data, and ensuring the timely movement of goods across the country. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Assist the logistics team in booking trucks and coordinating shipments with carriersTrack and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delaysHelp maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, schedules, and carrier informationInput and manage logistics data in transportation management systems (TMS)Communicate with carriers and internal teams Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related fieldStrong communication and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with data entryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksInterest in the food distribution and transportation industryPosition would be in office, based out of Irvine, CA Compensation and Benefits: Hands-on experience in logistics within the food industryMentorship from experienced logistics professionalsFlexible schedule (15-40 hours per week) to accommodate school or other commitmentsPotential for a full-time role based on performanceFree daily lunch, unlimited snacks, and refreshments$25.00 per hour This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in logistics operations within a dynamic industry.
