Logistics Intern

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Trade Compliance Intern to support our transportation, supply chain, and international trade activities.

Responsibilities

• Logistics
• Track domestic and international shipments
• Cook with shipments with carriers and freight forwarders
• Review shipping documents for accuracy
• Update shipment information and maintain logistics records
• Aid in freight reporting and transportation metrics using Excel
• Aid in freight invoice review and issue resolution
• Trade Compliance
• Aid with import and export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork
• Maintain customs and shipping records
• Learn basic HTS classifications, Country of Origin, and trade compliance requirements
• Aid customs brokers and internal teams with documentation requests
• Aid with trade compliance projects and audits
• General Support
• Help update logistics procedures and work instructions
• Organize files and maintain accurate records
• Aid with special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Previous internship or logistics experience is a plus
