Logistics Engineering Manager, IPS

About the role

The Oceaneering Ocean Technologies (OTECH) group is seeking a Logistics Engineering Manager responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Logistics Engineering, Integrated Product Support (IPS) element. This role oversees a team of Logistics Engineers and is accountable for delivering high-quality logistics engineering products across programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of Logistics Engineering products & services in alignment with programs’ requirements and lifecycle sustainment strategies.
• Oversee & guide the development of key logistics engineering products & analyses, including: Logistics Product Data (LPD) development, Maintenance development, Failure analysis and corrective action recommendations, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)/Obsolescence management and mitigation planning, Sparing Analytics & Provisioning support, Transportation Planning & Management.
• Ensure integration of logistics engineering considerations into system design, development, production, and sustainment phases.
• Serve as the primary functional interface for logistics engineering across programs and departments.
• Partner with Product Support Managers (PSMs), Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure cohesive supportability strategies.
• Communicate risks, gaps, and recommendations to programmatic & business leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in logistics engineering, sustainment engineering, or Integrated Product Support
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of: Logistics Product Data (LPD) development, Maintenance development, Failure analysis and corrective action recommendations, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)/Obsolescence management and mitigation planning, Sparing Analytics & Provisioning support, Transportation Planning & Management
• Experience supporting complex systems (e.g., maritime, defense, aerospace, or similar)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
• Must be able to obtain security clearance

Desired

• Familiarity with DoD Integrated Product Support Element Guidebook
• Experience with logistics data systems (e.g., Product Support Analysis tools, ERP systems like Costpoint)
• Experience in proposal development and capture support
• Knowledge of digital engineering / model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts

$128,100.00 - $192,100.00
