Logistics Engineer

Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid: Mon-Thursday in office, Friday remote) Role Overview: The Logistics Engineer optimizes supply chain operations by analyzing data, designing transportation strategies, and improving delivery efficiency. They focus on network modeling, route optimization, fleet utilization, and cost reduction while maintaining service levels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, they develop business cases, evaluate operational tradeoffs, and implement data-driven solutions using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, and TMS platforms. Key Responsibilities Develop and evaluate transportation and distribution modelsConduct route and capacity analyses to enhance efficiencyIdentify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reduce costsPresent insights and recommendations to leadershipCollaborate across teams to implement logistics solutions Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's in Engineering; Master's preferredAt least 5 years in network optimization, transportation planning, or supply chain engineeringProficiency in data analytics, visualization tools, and TMS platformsStrong problem-solving, communication, and business acumenLeadership or mentorship experience is a plus Work Environment: Hybrid setup with minimal travel, primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
