Logistics Engineer

Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid: Mon–Thursday in office, Friday remote)

Role Overview

The Logistics Engineer optimizes supply chain operations by analyzing data, designing transportation strategies, and improving delivery efficiency. They focus on network modeling, route optimization, fleet utilization, and cost reduction while maintaining service levels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, they develop business cases, evaluate operational tradeoffs, and implement data-driven solutions using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, and TMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate transportation and distribution models
• Conduct route and capacity analyses to enhance efficiency
• Identify opportunities to consolidate shipments and reduce costs
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership
• Collaborate across teams to implement logistics solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Engineering; Master’s preferred
• At least 5 years in network optimization, transportation planning, or supply chain engineering
• Proficiency in data analytics, visualization tools, and TMS platforms
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and business acumen
• Leadership or mentorship experience is a plus

Work Environment

Hybrid setup with minimal travel, primarily office-based with occasional site visits. The role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and continuous improvement to support operational excellence and scalable growth.
