About the Role

As a logistics engineer, you will apply your engineering and process improvement expertise to develop tools for international integration and foreign military sales processes. You’ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment by identifying root problems and managing reliability. This role involves addressing obsolescence concerns, shipping delays, and other stakeholder logistics challenges to create solutions that meet design requirements and ensure functionality. Your work will contribute to the safety of the warfighter by designing mission-critical solutions for international partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise in identifying the root cause of obsolescence concerns, shipping delays, and other logistics challenges.
  • Coordinate all system elements to ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment of C4I systems and material specifications.
  • Use tools such as Failure Modes and Criticality Analysis (FMCA) to ensure mission integrity.
  • Develop a path forward for logistics processes that meets design requirements and ensures functionality.
  • Partner with senior team members to apply root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution.
  • Lead mission-critical engineering logistics for international partners.
  • Direct the integrated logistics process, develop support policies and procedures, and provide implementation guidance.
  • Manage all logistics actions associated with the lifecycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support.
  • Establish and enforce standards to ensure the assigned workforce is properly trained and equipped.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in integrated logistics support.
  • Experience tracking shipments and actively communicating status updates with clients, including coordinating directly with vendors and Freight Forwarders.
  • Experience integrating logistics processes within operational and acquisition environments.
  • Experience directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures, and systems, and providing implementation guidance.
  • Ability to prepare and implement directives to ensure effective logistics support.
  • Ability to establish and enforce standards for workforce training and equipment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

  • Experience with logistics and technical integration in a non-DoD international environment, such as foreign military sales.
  • Experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems integration and transfer to foreign partners.
  • Experience coordinating secure, compliant shipments of COMSEC/CCI equipment, including via NAVWAR and NIWC PAC shipping processes.
  • Knowledge of the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), Management Information System - International Logistics (MISIL), Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP), and Information Warehouse (IW).
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree.
  • Defense Life Cycle Logistics Certification or equivalent.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

  • Remote: Generally expected to have cameras on during virtual meetings; occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.
