Logistics Engineer and Warehouse Manager

Manage a program warehouse, including receiving equipment and preparing it for onward shipment to both CONUS and OCONUS sites, as a logistics engineer working on a larger operations team. Monitor CONUS and OCONUS sites. Develop, evaluate, monitor, and supervise logistics plans and programs, including materials and equipment for deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and track logistical requirements through documentation on customer networks affecting assets and logistics
  • Process customer orders and execute deliveries to meet operational and customer requirements
  • Gather technical information, calculate and analyze data, and present logistics metrics
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain management
  • Experience with direct logistics or engineering support, including planning, coordination, documentation, or tracking of engineering projects, transportation, shipment, inventory control, or information management operations in a DoD environment
  • Experience using database management systems to track and maintain large logistical requirements
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs and policies
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating with a cross-matrix organization to ensure contract deliverables are adequately reviewed from a total logistics support perspective and approved in accordance with contract requirements
  • Experience working with various military services to validate ILS requirements and implement logistics support plans to meet requirements
  • Experience assessing and presenting production issues and challenges, and identifying and recommending solutions to leadership
  • Experience evaluating ILS impacts in CM documentation and engineering change proposals
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Master’s degree
  • Logistics or Program Management Certification

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Schedule

This role may be remote, hybrid, or onsite:

  • Remote: Occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer facilities as needed.
  • Onsite: Primary work location at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, collaborating directly with colleagues and customers.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
