Logistics Coordinator (Temporary)

About the role
The Logistics Coordinator supports the Service Logistics team with the day-to-day processing of field returns and consignment stock transactions. This is a fully remote temporary assignment running approximately four months, payrolled through a third-party staffing partner, and focused on transactional execution within SAP alongside the Forward and Reverse Logistics Analysts.
Responsibilities
- Verifies field returns prior to bill of lading creation.
- Creates returns delivery notes for field returns from consignment stock, Field Service Engineers, and customers.
- Processes manual consumption of consignment stock.
- Completes post goods receipt processing of field returns following arrival at the third-party logistics provider.
- Completes post goods receipt processing of stacks and miscellaneous spare parts returns to the returns warehouse.
- Other duties as may be required or assigned within the scope of the assignment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain support role.
- Comfort working in an ERP system for transactional entry and processing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy on repetitive transactional work.
- Ability to work core business hours aligned to Pacific Time on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote structure, with reliable internet access and a suitable home work environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, particularly goods receipt and returns processing.
- Experience with returns, reverse logistics, or consignment stock.
- Experience supporting a field service organization.
Skills
- Ability to work independently on a defined set of recurring tasks with limited supervision.
- Ability to identify and escalate discrepancies rather than work around them.
- Comfort coordinating remotely with third-party logistics partners and internal stakeholders by phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
Pay
Hourly pay range of $29.00 to $30.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Schedule
A fully remote temporary assignment of approximately four months with the possibility of extension.
