Dolce & Gabbana, a leader in the world of luxury fashion, has an exceptional career opportunity available for a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in managing inbound and outbound shipments for domestic, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries, and providing KPI analysis and performance reports.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the logistics of domestic shipments for merchandise and non-merchandise products, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments from storage warehouses, coordinating with freight forwarders, and stakeholders to guarantee smooth and punctual deliveries.
- Liaise with various domestic partners, freight forwarders to ensure the smooth flow of time-sensitive shipments.
- Track and trace domestic shipments of merchandise to retail stores and warehouses, ensuring timely arrivals and resolving issues when necessary.
- Sources and negotiates best spot rates for non-merchandise shipments while remaining within budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate shipment records for compliance and audit purposes, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Monitor and assess vendor performance by tracking transit times, managing exceptions, and providing detailed KPI reports to senior logistics staff.
- Review vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
- Collaborate with Operations team and Alta Moda Team during the new opening or events.
- Work with Italian Headquarters and US customs broker to pre-classify merchandise and identify possible quota, F&WL or Cites issues.
- Manage samples, Carnet ATA, FTZ shipments.
Profile
- 2+ years of logistics experience, focusing on domestic shipments.
- Proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V/H Lookups).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000 annually. The total compensation amount for a candidate is based on factors including educational background, professional experience, and industry knowledge.
