Logistics Coordinator, International Freight

About the role

Xometry is seeking an individual to support its growing Logistics Department. This role involves assisting with international and domestic shipment quoting, coordination, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Determine cost and pricing for international and domestic shipments
• Develop and manage relationships with local suppliers and co-load carriers
• Prepare shipping freight forwarding requests for quotes and analyze rates and routings
• Award and manage U.S. and foreign shipments
• Ensure regulatory requirements are met and that shipments have the correct paperwork
• Oversee billing to clients based on agreed pricing
• Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure end-to-end delivery
• Develop techniques and procedures for transporting commodities
• Perform prompt and accurate data entry into internal systems
• Maintain polite, timely, and efficient customer service

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in international logistics
• Extensive experience with major carriers and international freight forwarders
• Excellent writing and speaking skills
• Outgoing and forward-thinking mindset
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to customs, security, and import/export

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ERP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to decode problems quickly

Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is $42,000 - $55,000 annually, with a competitive benefits package including:
