Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate inventory records in our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Coordinates the receipt of incoming materials, verifying quantities and quality.
• Prepares and processes outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Organizes and maintains the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval of materials and products.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Implements and upholds safety standards and protocols within the warehouse.
• Collaborates with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Performs packaging to ensure product is protected during transport.
• Inspects labeling to ensure documents and product information.
• Processes transactions in D365 to complete shipping process inventory and warehouse.
• Completes necessary documentation for foreign trade and customs classification and bills of lading.
• Collaborates with the Sales Team to coordinate designation, shipping methods, and special instructions.
• Performs receiving functions in support of procurement and Quality returns.
• Affords assistance in picking, stocking, and other shipping-related duties as required.
• Performs inventory counting adjustments for Raw Material movement.
• Tagging and labeling raw material and parts for certification and traceability.
• Performs ancillary duties as needed.

Requirements

• College degree preferred
• Forklift License Preferred
• Knowledge of MS Office must be proficient in Excel and Word
• Business writing skills required
• Experience with UPS/Fed-Ex/Ltl shipping
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to analyze problems and problem resolution skills
• Knowledge of the shipping processes, procedures, and software
• Able to work in a busy environment
• Valid Drivers license required
