A logistics coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of goods throughout a company's supply chain, overseeing the storage and transportation of inventory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, and coordinating with various stakeholders like carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to maintain efficient operations; key duties include tracking shipments, managing orders, resolving logistics issues, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch - answer phones and emails in support of daily operations
- Customer order creation and invoicing through Delivery Works
- Leverage wireless monitoring to optimize dispatch routing through Smart Tank
- Communicate with customers to resolve issues related to order fullfillment
