Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.)
• Partner with carriers, brokers, and vendors to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
• Maintain organized and accurate shipping and receiving records, including scanning and filing documentation
• Utilize Excel and system reporting tools to track shipments, freight costs, and performance metrics
• Monitor key performance indicators (on-time delivery, cost efficiency, error rates) and identify trends or opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensure all shipments comply with company policies, GMP standards, and applicable transportation regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with carriers, freight scheduling, or inventory management systems
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment, preferably within food or beverage production
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and adherence to quality and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and planning abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills (email, phone, and in-person)
• Proficiency with systems such as Business Central, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Smartsheet
• A high sense of urgency with the ability to drive tasks and projects to completion
• A collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, routing, and freight documentation (BOLs, packing lists, etc.)
