Trout Trucking Company is seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Dispatcher to join our Operations team in Robstown. Responsibilities
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor driver locations and shipment status.
- Assign loads and update dispatch information.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in dispatch software.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates when needed.
- Assist drivers with route changes and operational issues.
- Work closely with Safety, Maintenance, and Operations to keep freight moving efficiently.
- Ensure drivers receive accurate load information and instructions.
- Maintain professional communication in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, administrative, transportation, or dispatch experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
